I paint the real, the abstracted and the imaginary to make sense of the chaos of memory and of our fragmented daily existence.
I paint what I recall of experiences and objects, often landscapes and florals which move me deeply with their happy brilliance and unfailing optimism.
I use colour, shape and gesture as my tools, starting with acrylic on canvas and including whatever additional mixed media appeal.
The size of my
paintings keeps growing and with it, when I am successful, the spiritual lift
experienced both by artist and viewer.
